About Our Bookstore
The Hobart International Bookport, located in the heart of the Hobart Book Village, offers a selection of new and used books by well-known international authors, both in English and in other languages. Recent laureates of the Nobel Prize for Literature are conveniently grouped in one area.
We have a large selection of novels and short stories, including older and rare editions, as well as mass-market paperbacks. World classics, plays, philosophy and poetry books, and a well-stocked history room are part of our collection. Our non-fiction section is rich and diverse, including books on international affairs, memoirs and biographies, manuals on writing and art books.
Discover the world in our travel section and take to the world of flying with our aviation books. Visit our pleasant children’s corner, where kids can sit and discover a wide selection of books for all ages. We also sell paintings and photographs by international artists.
